Since 2003, a woodworking shop has been established in Taos, New Mexico (USA),
funded in part by a grant from the US National Science Foundation (NSF DBI-0242318),
first through Texas A&M University and more recently through the University of New Mexico.

Models and sculptures fit into the several categories.
Duplications occur because the subject is studied relative to the raw material
(i.e., wood; size, dryness, supply for multiple copies, cost, ...)
